Conor Hunt has just released Rannotate, a tool that emulates PHP’s user-submitted comments manual.

Rannotate can annotate any rdoc. I setup my application’s rdoc in 5 minutes flat.

The only caveat is I had to fall back to CVS, from SVN to get the source code. RubyForge does not yet offer Subversion access for it’s projects.

Anyway, Conor has made available the Rails documentation – annotated

Great job ! Now we, as a group, simply need to add content.

Hi there, stumbled on this posting via google, thought I’d mention that version 2 is out now. Hugely improved because it puts all of your documentation in a database. I also have a subversion repository now.

Check out the new version in action: http://rails.outertrack.com/
